The wedge wire screen rotary drum is used for separating solids from liquids in dry feed applications. In separation processing, the feed is pumped onto the inside of the rotary drum, where the liquid and smaller fibres or solids are allowed to pass through the screen, while the oversize fibres or solids be blocked on the wedge wire surface and move to the discharge end of the drum.
