Resin Traps
Wedge wire screen tube with flange is a kind of resin traps, it is also called strainers, typically resin traps are located in-line and downstream of either ion exchange units or activated carbon units, and used for water lines to capture solids, prevent expensive media from entering downstream.
The flow is generally from the outside to the inside.
These traps with a continuous open slot, they provide sufficient open area to let process flow move smoothly, while minimizing pressure loss through the screen.
Resin traps prevent loss of expensive resins, cross contamination of resins, damage to pump, and reduce environmental damage.
Benefits
Prevents loss of resin during backwashing
Protects downstream equipment and pumps
V type wire, non-clogging
Continuous open slot, high open area
304 stainless steel construction , corrosion resistance
Application
